SABINA KARLSSON

Born and Raised in Sweden, from Swedish and Gambian parents, Sabina Karlsson has had quite the upbringing. She was discovered in a hair salon at the age of four, and her modeling career began almost immediately. At a young age, she was already traveling and doing shows, leading her to sign with an agency in Stockholm at the age of eight. Juggling school and modeling, Sabina worked whenever she had free time, sometimes spending her school breaks in Paris and Milan. Sabina’s modeling career kicked into high gear, after appearing on Top Model Scandinavia, coming in at 2nd place at 16 years old. One of her first major bookings was a Victoria’s Secret PINK campaign.

After graduating High School, Sabina decided to move to New York City, where she currently resides. Some of her career highlights include walking in JACQUEMUS, BALMAIN, MAX MARA and MICHAEL KORS, as well as landing the cover of Elle Sweden seven and a half months pregnant. Shooting pregnant has been a blessing for her, having also shot Vogue a week before giving birth to her son. On her free time, Sabina has immersed herself into the birthing world, specifically working towards becoming a certified Birth Doula with Mama Glow, founded by Latham Thomas. The world of Birth Doulas was always something Sabina was interested in, noting that every birthing person deserves to have a positive and safe birthing experience.
